Can I use my phone on another network?

If you bought your phone in Australia then you should have no worries taking it to another Australian provider.

The 3 networks: Telstra, Optus and Vodafone, all use the same or similar radio frequencies and phones sold in Australia are designed to work on most or all of these radio options.

If you import a phone from overseas you have to be really careful about which radio frequencies it supports, as phones without the right radios inside will not work with Australian SIM cards.

As a general guide, the Australian networks support 3G services on the 900MHz and 2100MHz bands, and 4G services on the 1800MHz band.
